Subject: Minutes of Board of
Directors, December 28, 2000
A quorum of directors being present, the meeting was
called to order at 7:02 p.m. at the First Church of Christ by
President~ Troy Holloway. Directors present: T. Holloway, Peter René
(arrived at 7:03), J. Randazzo and G. Litinski, and C. Scalzo. Jeff Green
and Steve Inglis were present representing Bristol Management services.
There were members of the public in attendance.
Motion J. Randazzo to approve the minutes as read, second by P. René.
Passed unanimously.
J. Randazzo moved to suspend the agenda to discuss irrigation
restrictions by South Florida Water District. Second by C. Scalzo, passed
unanimously.
ACC REPORT: C. Godfrey presented three options
for consideration
- The addition of a new pump station at the entrance of Phase II at
a cost of $15,000.
- Adjust all the clocks to correspond with the home addresses.
- The addition of two more clocks to handle the irrigation under
the new rules set by South Florida Water District.
J. Randazzo proposed a fourth option that Phases I & III be watered on
odd days and Phase II on even Days.
G. Litinski moved to purchase the two new clocks and install them at a
cost not to exceed $2,000. This money will be drawn from the Irrigation
Reserves in the budget. Second C. Scalzo, Passed Unanimously.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Treasurer reported that the
delinquent fees report from the attorney is part of the package.
Three proposals were made to review our financials.
Motion by G. Litinski to accept the Millward & Co proposal. Second by P
René. Passed Unanimously.
SECRETARY REPORT: There was no correspondence
during the month of December.
Management Report: Lake one fountain has been
purchased and will be installed by the next meeting, weather permitting.
Preparations have begun for the details and specs concerning Painting
of homes in 2003 and the responsibility of the cost of painting inside the
border walls.
The Annual Meeting Date has been set for March 23, 2001.
Discussion took place as to the procedure the Manager should take with
those who continue to be in violation with dirty roofs. Those that
responded to the letter sent by the manager may have until Jan 31, 2001
before fines would be imposed and those that did not respond at all will
begin fines as of the date stated in the letter from the manager.
NEW BUSINESS: April Kerlow has volunteered to be
the managing Editor of HAMPTON HAPPENINGS.
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 9:45
PM.
